- What all is included with your services?Communal Table provides everything needed to serve your guests a delicious meal. All food items are served from chafing dishes provided by us along with disposable plates, napkins and flatware. We will also have an on-site staff dedicated to setting up and serving and then to assist with bussing and breakdown of food service equipment. We can also provide a food service table and linen covering if needed.
- What will your staff be wearing?Our staff will be wearing a black button up shirt with black pants and a restaurant style apron.
- When is the final guest count and payment due?Our team will begin reaching out about 2 weeks prior to your event date asking for all final details including event timeline and a guests count. At this time, we will make the adjustments to your proposal and send you a final invoice. Final payment is then due 5 business days prior to the event in the form of cash or a cashier’s check. Should you decide to pay by card, please be aware there is a 4% additional charge.
- Is my retainer refundable if I decide to cancel my event?No, retainers are non-refundable.
- Are we allowed to bring our own appetizers and/or food?No. All the food served at your event must be prepared and come from Communal Table Catering. Outside food will not be allowed.
- Can we take all the leftover food at the end of the night?No. We will ask for a final guest count and will provide enough food to feed that number of guests. Any leftover food will be discarded at the end of the night.
- Are we responsible for any food equipment?Communal Table will provide all the necessary equipment to serve the food ordered.
- Do you provide cake cutting services?We do provide cake cutting services at an additional cost. Please refer to the “upgrades” section.
- Do you provide any beverages?Communal Table will set-up a complimentary water station with plastic cups. The station will be broken down once our staff leaves after bussing the tables. Please refer to “upgrades” if you would like to add iced tea and/or lemonade to your package.
- Who is in charge of the bar?Cafe Natalie is in charge of all bar services, please inquire with them about pricing.
- Do you provide Day of Coordination?No, we do not provide day of coordination. Please contact your venue for the list of approved vendors.
